And for the record it was a boy called Elvis (you had to be there but thank your lucky stars you weren’t) and turgid means ‘excessively ornate or complex in style or language; or swollen or distended, as from a fluid. So we were all wrong.

J has just e-mailed round with his ‘Art Attack’ idea. As far as I can tell this apparently involves inscribing the word ‘thrusk’ 100 feet high on a Yorkshire hillside, using just wetsocks. He did this rudimentary mock up:
And he mentioned small black & white animals on ropes. So here’s another (arrestable) suggestion.
A quick reminder that the first trip of next term is Yorkshire, YSS, 28th April-1st May (first weekend of next term).

Following the um, success of Widget World RUCC now gives you Charlotte’s Web. The site will no doubt evolve over time as we await Charlotte’s ascent to stunt queen and her further random thoughts, but in the meantime it’s a start. I also think it’s perhaps the future of web design – a biro, Charlotte & twenty minutes in the pub.
Incidentally, how odd is it that the Mars company’s response to Charlotte’s request for chocolate is addressed ‘Freeby Lane’? Maybe they do have a sense of humour in Slough.
Don’t forget, next Monday its your chance to shape the future of the club. It’s ELECTION TIME.

Another week, another trip to the hut, and another couple of pairs of pants! These new pants will be added to the game that has caught the imagination of RUCC members the world over – NAME THOSE PANTS!
Are they your pants, or have you seen them hiding the intimates of someone you know? All entries into ‘NAME THOSE PANTS’ will be also be added to the ‘Shrine O’ Pants’ that we are planning as a piece of installation art in the hut.
This Friday we mostly went indoor skydiving in Milton Keynes, in honour of Marie leaving us. Next up – Charlotte wants to go bobsleighing. In Bath. Any takers?
